2018 Swan Design

The coin’s reverse depicts the unique animal emblem of Western Australia swimming gracefully on the surface of the water with her cygnet. The design includes the inscription THE 1oz 9999 AUSTRALIAN SILVER SWAN and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark.

The limited mintage of 1,000 of 2oz, 1oz and 1/2 oz Perth Mint Bullion Lunar Pig silver 3 proof coins set. The design of the coin is a domesticated or pet pig, which is pink with black markings typically, four piglets around it, between stylised foliage. It celebrates this social, inquisitive and highly brainy animal.

The design also incorporates the Chinese character for ‘pig’, the inscription ‘Year of the Pig’ and The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark.

Silver Proof Lunar pigs are available as individual 1 kilo, 1oz and 1/2oz coins, or in a Three-Coin Set including a 1oz, 1/2oz and 2oz issue.
